Scorn, the H.R. Giger-inspired horror game, is launching just before Halloween this year, developer Ebb Software has announced.
The final release date was revealed along with a brand new gameplay trailer during the Xbox showcase yesterday. The video focused on the strange setting of Scorn, a deserted ruin which was once an industrial civilisation. Described as a “biomechanical labyrinth”, the game will see players taking on deadly encounters with limited ammunition, health and resources, with twisted and interconnected environments to explore.
It's all wrapped up in a horrid, fleshy art style that's nothing but disturbing - perfect for horror, of course.
Scorn is coming to Xbox Series X|S via Xbox Game Pass and PC on 21st October 2022. You can check out the new gameplay trailer down below.
There is another video they put out narrated by Doug Bradley (Pinhead) that still hardly explains what the hell this game is about. Like yea it looks cool as fuck, like someone raided the estate of H.R. Giger and it slept with a Tool video, but like what the hell am I going to be doing in this game?
