Developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment have revealed new gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem, the upcoming sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, set to continue the fraught journey of Amicia and Hugo. A release date reveal is also scheduled for later this month.
In the new gameplay, you can see Amicia using new weapons, including a crossbow for ranged encounters, and knives for close-range hand-to-hand combat. Requiem also aims to offer a wider variety of environments, while new narrative elements centred upon the nefarious Macula and the children striving to resist having to resort to open violence.
