A new expansion for Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be launching in late-August, titled ‘Pathogen’. Taking the crew of the Endeavor to “uncharted lands”, you'll face “never-before-seen” enemies, while attempting to uncover the source of a mysterious new threat in a fresh campaign.

Comprising three story missions, you'll be able to fight back new enemies with an armoury of new tools and weapons, which come with a selection of new cosmetic options. A total of eight weapons (two of each type), one new perk for each Class Kit, 26 new weapon attachments, and 21 weapon colours, will be among the new additions.

Two new outfits for all seven class kits, six head accessories for customising your Colonial Marine, nine new gun decals, and ten new emotes will also be included with the Pathogen expansion, while all players will be able to access a new Hardcore mode via a free update releasing at the same time. A July update will also be adding cross-play.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite's Pathogen expansion will be launching for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on 30th August.

  • I bought this game day one it's alright never played past episodr 1 but I'll probably buy this
  • So they’re adding the Deacon protomorph from Prometheus, judging by that artwork. That’s hardly “never seen before” if true.
