Wanted: Dead Looks Hyper-Violent and Hyper-Fun in Latest Trailer

110 Industries has dropped a new trailer for hack-and-slash game Wanted: Dead, and things are looking good for the fast-paced action title.

Created by former Ninja Gaiden developers, Wanted: Dead combined swordplay with gunplay in a unique combination that looks like a good version of Devil's Third. Players will have to utilise combos and parries to take down enemies, unleashing bouts of blood in the process, in true Ninja Gaiden style.

The game follows Lt. Hannah Stone, leader of an elite team known as Zombie Squad, taking on an outfit of mysterious mercenaries in a retro-cyberpunk version of Hong Kong.

“We think people are going to be pleasantly surprised by the variety of what we’re going to deliver in Wanted: Dead when it releases this year,” said creative director Sergei Kolobashkin. “Of course, there’s all the blood and violence, but there’s also karaoke, dancing, ramen and maybe even a full 16-bit game that we got a little carried away with…”

Wanted: Dead is launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in Q4 2022. You can watch the brand new trailer down below.

  • There was quite a lot going on in that trailer and most of it was WTF. The combat looks pretty slow and whatever the hell the story is seems like they're trying a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks approach.

When the release is closer maybe we'll learn more that will pique my interest, but right now, I'll probably have forgotten this by lunch.
  • I’m actually really looking forward to this, could be a blast. Trailer music is dope, too
