As Dusk Falls, an interactive drama first announced for Xbox back in 2020, will be hitting Game Pass next month, developer Interior/Night has confirmed. Eight years in the making, As Dusk Falls features a cinematic narrative, with actors digitally rendered using a painterly art style.
Playing like a motion graphic novel, As Dusk Falls will see you getting involved with the life struggles and aspirations of a cast of “far from perfect human beings”, presenting to with a range of decisions to make, in the midst of a robbery-gone-wrng in small town Arizona, circa 1998. Your choices will determine the path of the story, and how characters' lives will eventually unravel.
You'll attempt to break free of the toxic influence of your family, making sacrifices, and confronting your past. The fates of two families are interwoven with one another, and you'll be able to experience the game's yarn alone, or with up to eight players locally or online (or a mix of both). You can even join in using the As Dusk Falls companion app for mobile devices.
As Dusk Falls will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC on 19th July, also available day one via Game Pass, with Cloud Gaming support. Check out the trailers below to find out more.
