Verdun and Tannenberg developer M2H has announced that Isonzo, the third entry in its World War One first-person shooter series, will be arriving on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC this September. Set amid the Italian Alps, you'll play as Italian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers in Isonzo, waging war using sniper rifles, ice picks, and poison gas, as well as mountain gun artillery.

Promising authentic warfare in the Italian Front mountains, Isonzo includes historically accurate high-altitude battles, with key moments like the fight for the Isonzo river, preparing defences in a dynamic battlefield, where you'll need to adapt to situations as they arise. Each scenario requires a different soldier class and strategy, and as such, Isonzo introduces a new class system with distinct roles and loadout options.

Isonzo will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation  4, and PC on 13th September, priced $29.99/£24.99, and you can take a look at the Dolomites map in the new release date trailer below. It's one of six maps that will be available in Isonzo at launch.
