Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have today released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, a return to the heroes in a half-shell's arcade beat 'em up heyday, with online and local co-op for up to six players, seven characters to choose from, crossplay support, and countless Foot Clan to smash your way through.

As well as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, you can play as Master Splinter, April O'Neil, and, once he's unlocked upon completing Story Mode, you can also play as hockey stick-wielding vigilante, Casey Jones. The game also features an original soundtrack by Tee Lopes, and original tune 'We Ain’t Came to Lose' from Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, priced $24.99/£22.49, with a limited-time 10% discount. You can also play the game via Xbox Game Pass. Check out the launch trailer and third behind the scenes video below, and give our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge review a read here.

  • Just played through it with my 13 y/o daughter. She loved it and for me it was reminiscent of my late 80s and early 90s gaming on NES with my brother. Game plays so smooth and stays true to it's roots.
  • The Reviews on this site even gave it a 90 and they tend to be strict on review scores.
