Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo IV's campaign will take around 35 hours to complete.
Speaking in an interview with Gamespot, Blizzard developers spoke further about what to expect in terms of customisation, and how players would be able to create their own story in Diablo IV.
“You're able to travel anywhere in the world, make decisions about what you want to do, whether you want to pursue the campaign, which is a 35-hour experience that is just brimming with story and characters that are really human and you can really connect with on an emotional level,” said game director Joe Shely. “We've worked really hard on the campaign in Diablo 4 and we're really proud of how it's developing.”
By the time players finish the campaign, Shely expects players to be around level 45, but there's still plenty to do once the credits have rolled on the main story, including getting your character up to level 100 through Paragon points. The endgame for Diablo IV will include new Nightmare Dungeons, and Blizzard is attempting to balance all of the classes so that a wide variety of builds are viable.
Blizzard recently revealed plenty of new information on Diablo IV during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. You can watch the latest gameplay trailer and read more here.
Diablo IV is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2023.
