Fall Guys is Free-to-Play and Available For Xbox Now

Richard Walker

Developer Mediatonic has today unleashed Fall Guys on Xbox, available as a free-to-play title. Originally released for PlayStation and PC in 2020, Fall Guys sees you controlling your customised jelly bean character, and competing in a chaotic obstacle course where the last bean standing wins.

Fall Guys goes live on Xbox with its first F2P season, offering fraught obstacle courses brimming with hazards. You'll have blast balls, swivel arms, and all manner of bumpers and other impediments to contend with, as you and your rivals all race to the finish. You can see for yourself what's in store in the gameplay trailer below.

Fall Guys (and Season 1: Free For All) is free now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with limited-time events, new store items, and crossover collaborations - including the Halo crossover slated for 30th June until 4th July - on the cards.

  • So does that mean it won’t be free when “season 2” launches within the next couple months?

Pretty dumb if so, cause it’s kinda fun but not fun enough to pay money for it.

  • the game will still be free, like all F2P games you will just need to pay for the battle pass if you want extra cosmetics
  • Installing now. Should be some fun.
