Codemasters has announced a new mode for GRID Legends, available today as a story-driven, cross-platform DLC titled ‘Classic Car-Nage’. As the name suggests, the new DLC mode introduces an action-packed Destruction Derby-style experience, in which drivers compete by deliberately smashing into one another.
The DLC also features an “eclectic” range of vehicles to drive across four new tracks, while themed ‘Stories’ within the game will apparently “further” the experience, which comprises a series of special racing events. Through the Classic Car-Nage story, you'll reacquaint yourself with the main game's ‘Driven to Glory’ rivals.
Those new vehicles, meanwhile, include an ice-cream truck, while the four new routes will take you to the Yokohama Docks and Havana. The DLC is rounded out by three new sponsored Career Events, and the ability to play the expansion with friends, even if they don't own it. Additionally, a new update rolls out today, giving all GRID Legends players the Team Fordzilla - P1 race car as a free playable vehicle.
GRID Legends' new Classic Car-Nage DLC is available today for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, standalone or with the GRID Legends Deluxe Edition. You can check out our GRID Legends review here.
