WB Games has put out a Pro Player Showcase for upcoming crossover platform fighter MultiVersus, showing off some high-level play for the Super Smash Bros-like game.
In this Pro Player Showcase, we get to see professional players from the Fighting Game Community, Spooky and ApologyMan, face off against each other. With MultiVersus heavily balanced around co-op player, each player is also teamed up with a top performing player from the recent MultiVersus Alpha.
The video is hosted by FGC commentators Sharpie, AJAX, and IFC YipeS, and it gives us a good look at what we can expect from the game's competitive scene. MultiVersus will even be included at the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) later this year. With Nintendo not allowing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to be a part of EVO 2022, it seems MultiVersus is set to take its place as the platform fighter of choice, with a $100,000 prize pool.
