Six-part docuseries ‘Power On: The Story of Xbox’ has won a Daytime Emmy Award, Microsoft has revealed.
First announced during the Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration late last year, Power On: The Story of Xbox took a look behind the scenes at the creation of the very first Xbox console, with retrospectives from the original Xbox founders - Kevin Bachus, Seamus Blackley, Ted Hase, and Otto Berkes - as well as other industry figures.
The series has now gone on to win a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single Camera Editing, a People’s Voice Webby Award for Documentary (Video Series & Channels), and sixteen Telly Awards.
“We are so thankful for the many of you who voted to support “Power On” in the People’s Voice Webby Awards, and for the judges that have honored the series with these other prestigious awards and nominations,” said Xbox Wire editor in chief Will Tuttle.
