Hunting season will be getting underway this summer, with Way of the Hunter set to launch this August, with two expansive open world regions to explore and an off-road vehicle to make traversal a little simpler. Just be wary that noise from your car can scare away nearby animals.
Taking you to the wilderness of the USA and Europe, Way of the Hunter contains a range of beautiful environments to take in, and a menagerie of realistic animals to shoot using authentic weaponry. Apparently, you'll also face the challenges of ethical hunting in the game's story mode, or hunt freely.
Featuring 55 square miles in each of its two territories, co-op support, and realistic animal behaviours, Way of the Hunter will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 16th August, priced $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. Pre-ordering will grant access to the Hunter's Pack with Engraved Shotgun, a special Car Paint, and a Wooden Carved Animal Statue.
There's also a Way of the Hunter Elite Edition available for pre-order, priced $54.99/£44.99/€54.99, bundling the Season Pass, which will grant access to two DLC regions as they release. Pre-order before 16th August, and you'll also get 10% off. Check out the Way of the Hunter release date trailer below.
