Codemasters and EA have today officially released F1 22 for all players, meaning you no longer have to own the Champions Edition, which offered three-day early access, to play the game. To coincide with the launch, there's a new trailer featuring Scuderia Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, offering a look into the life of a Formula One driver.

“F1 22 strikes a great balance for race fans of all levels and deepens the authenticity of the Formula 1 experience, with challenging, realistic and high adrenaline race moments,” said Creative Director Lee Mather. “We have delivered our biggest ever revamp of physics, handling and presentation, and a range of innovative lifestyle options for those new to the game. We are excited to offer players a gateway into the world of F1 and to get closer to the sport than ever before.”

Featuring the new F1 Life hub, drivable supercars, and all of the rule changes, aerodynamics alterations, audio changes, and more, as well as broadcast options for Pit Stops, Formation Laps, and Safety Car deployment, F1 22 also includes the return of the My Team Career Mode, online multiplayer, two-player split-screen, and the Two Player Career. You can also race your owned supercars in Pirelli Hot Lap challenges.

F1 22 is now available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, arriving in time for this weekend's Silverstone Grand Prix, showcased in the hot lap trailer below. You can check out our F1 22 review here.
