Longtime Eidos Montreal writer Mary DeMarle has left the studio to join Dragon Age developer BioWare (via VGC).
DeMarle joined Eidos Montreal back in 2007, and worked on several Deus Ex games during her time at the studio, including Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Deus Ex GO. She also served as the senior narrative designer on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Now, according to an update on her LinkedIn page, the veteran developer has left Eidos Montreal after nearly fifteen years at the studio, joining BioWare and EA as a senior narrative director.
BioWare recently revealed Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as the official name of Dragon Age 4, and the studio also has a new Mass Effect sequel in early development.
DeMarle's departure from Eidos Montreal comes shortly after the studio was sold by Square Enix to Embracer Group, along with several IP including Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, and Thief.
