Indie developer Digital Cybercherries will be bringing Hypercharge: Unboxed, its third and first-person shooter in which you play as an action figure blasting other toys, to Xbox. Released for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2020, an Xbox version has been in the offing for a while now, and is set to release soon.

Inspired by Toy Story and Small Soldiers, Hypercharge features wave-based PvE with defence-building mechanics, as you aid Sgt. Max Ammo in preventing the ‘Hyper-Core’ from being destroyed. The game also includes online and offline PvP, co-op play, and single-player options.

Likened to Battlefield with toys, Hypercharge: Unboxed will be coming to Xbox, although a release date has yet to be revealed. For updates on the Xbox version of the game, you can sign up to receive the Hypercharge newsletter here.

  • Kinda reminds me of Toy Soldiers or Army Men

Those game were fun as fuck back in the day. think it
  • I have it on the switch. It's fun. I play it with my girls. We played the co-op and you fight off waves of soldiers and have places to defend. I'd get it again.
  • Should be a gamepass game. Not paying full price for a 2 year old game...
  • Looks fun and I want to check it out. On another note, some of the devs has been getting a ton of abuse online and it's really disgusting. What the fuck is wrong with people who act that way?
