THQ Nordic has announced that Biomutant will be making its way to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 this September, introducing a range of enhancements to developer Experiment 101's kung-fu RPG, originally released for Xbox One and PS4 in May 2021.

On Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, Biomutant will include native 4K resolution, HDR support, and a frame rate of up to 60fps, as well as “ultra-fast” loading times. There will be three different graphics settings to choose from, with ‘Quality’ offering 4K resolution (1440p on Xbox Series S) at 30fps, and 'Quality Unleashed' aiming for 40+fps, averaging 50-60fps in 4K (1440p on Xbox Series S).

‘Performance’ mode, meanwhile, locks the frame rate at 60fps, with resolution dropped to 1440p on Xbox Series X (1080p on Xbox Series S). You can take a look at the game in the trailer below.

Biomutant will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on 6th September, priced $39.99/£34.99/€39.99, with a free upgrade for anyone who already owns the game for Xbox One or PS4. You'll even be able to transfer your existing save data across.
