Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be getting crossplay multiplayer when Season 4: Prestige launches at the end of this month.

Crossplay will be available between Aliens: Fireteam Elite players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC across all game modes, including quickplay, with improved matchmaking.

On the same day, Season 4: Prestige will be going live in the game, adding in a new Prestige progression system that kicks in once players reach level twenty. After this, experience points begin to count towards a player's Prestige Rank, starting at one and going up to one hundred. This will unlock new nameplates showing off your rank, with exclusive cosmetic rewards unlocked for every ten Prestige levels.

The new season also brings with it the new Restock Turrets game mode, four new weapons, a rework of the challenge card system, and more. You can read the full details over on the official website here.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 4: Prestige goes live across all platforms on 26th July 2022. You can check out the trailer down below.

  • "...with improved matchmaking."

Finally! That's been one of the greater issues in the game. That and a lack of map / mission variety, but that's being worked on in the DLC at least.
