Breakers Collection will feature rollback netcode and crossplay in its online multiplayer, publisher QUByte Interactive has announced.
First announced back in 2020, Breakers Collection is packaging together two classic '90s fighting games - Breakers and Breakers Revenge - into one handy fighting game package. During a livestream last week, project leads Bruno Carvalho and Marcel Bernardi revealed new information on Breakers Collection's online play, with lobbies, profile customisation, crossplay, and rollback netcode all set to be included.
Another feature coming is Interactive Replays, allowing players to take control of a recording at any point, in order to play out the other possibilities for that encounter. There will also be a gallery, containing classic marketing material and even fan art, as well as a new Team Battle mode.
Breakers Collection is due to release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with a release date still to be confirmed.
