Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is Out Now For Xbox One With SonSon Available For All

Richard Walker

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has launched today, bringing a collection of 32 retro arcade classics to consoles and PC, including the Street Fighter Alpha series, Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Black Tiger, Magic Sword, Saturday Night Slam Masters, and no less than three Darkstalkers games.

The compendium also includes a raft of features, including online leaderboards; a variety of customisation options like display settings, screen filters, arcade cabinet designs, and frames; adjustable Game Speed from ‘Very Slow’ to ‘Very Fast’; difficulty levels; a Rewind feature that jumps a game back 10 seconds; and Invincibility mode available as free DLC.

You can take a look at the list of all 32 games included in the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium bundle here, with all players able to play 1984 2D side-scrolling platformer, SonSon, for free. Between now and 5th August, you can also download the ‘Special Display Frames Set’ for free, while pre-orders grant access to the ‘Display Frames Set 1’ with 32 game-specific cabinet display frames.

And, if you purchase the Capcom Fighting Collection prior to 30th September 2022, you'll get Three Wonders as a bonus game, which includes a trio of games in one. Owners of the first Capcom Arcade Stadium with save data can also get Instruction Card Backgrounds and the option to change lights and music in 2nd Stadium's game select screen.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and you can read our review here.
