It seems that Ubisoft's Roller Champions, the free-to-play rollerblading game released for consoles in May, could be next in the firing line for cancellation, following a flurry of scrapped projects at the company, which include Ghost Recon Frontline.

“Roller Champions is gonna be cancelled after Season 3,” Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb claimed during the XboxEra podcast (via VGC), citing an anonymous source. That's despite the game only being out for a matter of months, last month seeing the arrival of a themed 'Disco Fever' season.

Ubisoft noted during a recent financial call that Roller Champions is currently performing better than Hyper Scape, Ubi's failed attempt at battle royale, canned in April of this year. However, with fewer than 100 people watching the game on Twitch, it could be that Roller Champions' days are numbered.
