Today sees the release of the massive The Criminal Enterprises update for Grand Theft Auto Online, bringing with it a raft of improvements, fresh features, and new opportunities for career criminals, amid skyrocketing gas prices, a dangerous heatwave, and an economy on the brink of collapse in Southern San Andreas.
Executives can launch new Source Cargo missions and a new daily Export Mixed Goods mission from their Offices, while new Warehouse Staff hires will be available to lend a hand, including new manager Lupe, who'll oversee it all. MC Presidents can enlist Sindy to help stock your bar and use the Custom Bike Shop to mod and deliver bikes to paying customers, as well as engaging in new Clubhouse Contracts.
Nightclub Owners can chat to Tony Price to launch new Club Management missions, dealing with interloping paparazzi, using bouncers to get rid of troublemakers, and chaperoning drunken VIPs. You can also call Yohan to source Goods. As for Gunrunners, you'll be served with new Resupply missions, and Agent 14 will help boost Research in your Bunker, as well as sorting a contract with Ammu-Nation to sell off excess weapon parts.
Additionally, you can unite with Agent ULP for ‘Operation Paper Trail’, a mission in which you'll be tasked with getting to the bottom of a criminal conspiracy revolving around the Duggans and the FIB, who may be colluding to rig the price of oil. There are new vehicles, too, including the Benefactor Stirling GT at Hao's Special Works, two new Imani Tech-compatible vehicles, the Pegassi Zentorno, and Grotti Turismo R, are also available alongside new mods and liveries.
Head over to Ammu-Nation and you can also get your hands on the new long-range bolt-action Precision Rifle, while The Criminal Enterprises' raft of improvements include the ability to now access business computers in private sessions, so you can take on Sell and Source missions whenever you like, without facing the Armageddon of the competitive market. If you happen to like the Armageddon, you'll get bonus boosts.
Other improvements like being able to purchase max ammo for all weapons in one go via the Interaction Menu, and equipping fresh armour or using first aid via the Weapon Wheel, have also been streamlined. Other notable improvements introduced with the update include:
As for the week's usual GTA Online bonuses, there's 2x GTA$ and RP on the new Operation Paper Trail missions, a bonus GTA$150,000 for completing any Steal or Source mission (Gunrunning, Special Cargo, Import/Export Vehicle Cargo), and the free White Beat Off Earphones for completing any Gunrunning, Nightclub Warehouse, MC, or Special Cargo Sell until 3rd August.
Discounts, meanwhile, include 40% off Agency Property, Agency Property Upgrades and Modifications, and various cut-price vehicles, like 30% off the Pegassi Zorrusso, Enus Deity, and Vapid Dominator ASP, 40% off the Ocelot Lynx, Lampadati Furore GT, and Declasse Yosemite, as well as half off the Schyster Deviant.
GTA+ Members can also get the free Lampadati Corsita sports car from Legendary Motorsport, with two exclusive liveries, as well as 50% bonus GTA$ and RP on Operation Paper Trail missions, and waived fees on all VIP/CEO Abilities made via the Interaction Menu. On top of that, there's 15% extra GTA$ on Shark Card purchases, upgrades for your Executive Office, and more.
The Criminal Enterprises update is live now in Grand Theft Auto Online on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, while the latest bonuses are also available now until 3rd August.
