EA has shared a new FIFA 23 deep dive trailer, hot on the heels of last week's video, which offered a look at new power shots, technical dribbling, revamped free kicks, and more. This latest deep dive is all about the “elevated matchday experience” FIFA 23 is aiming to deliver, with new features designed to replicate the atmosphere of a big event.
You'll be able to “feel the drama of matchday” thanks to broadcast quality presentation; augmented reality Hypermotion2 replays, which offer more overlay features and info during free kick and shot replays; pre-match build up, providing “high-energy” scenes inside and outside the stadium; and “hyper-realistic” pitches that show wear as players tackle or celebrate goals.
Other details include realistic goal netting, using 3D textures and enhanced lighting to make for more satisfying goals when the ball ripples into the net; new crowd details like new clothing types and a greater diversity of supporters, to make stadiums “feel more alive”; and the presence of female officials for the first time. Rounding things out is an updated FIFA Trainer that will help take your footie skills to the next level, and a camera refresh. This will include a new shallow depth of field, for a “new layer” of visual quality.
FIFA 23 will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 30th September, with new career mode features, the return of Juventus, and more. You can check out the new FIFA 23 matchday experience deep dive trailer below.
