Following the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for August, Microsoft is back with the next batch of games due to hit the library, starting with “heart-to-heart” talking simulator/visual novel, Coffee Talk, available from today, complete with touch controls.

Brutal criminal underworld brawler, Midnight Fight Express, then follows on 23rd August, as a day one Xbox Game Pass release, with futuristic hacking puzzler Exapunks swiftly dropping via PC Game Pass two days later, alongside acclaimed visual novel-style adventure, Opus: Echo of Starsong.

Commandos 3 - HD Remaster then heads to Xbox Game Pass from 30th August, offering reworked 3D models and textures, overhauled controls, and refined UI. That's another day one Xbox Game Pass addition, as is Immortality, the new one from Her Story and Telling Lies creator, Sam Barlow.

There's more immortality to be had in Immortals Fenyx Rising, Ubisoft's stylish open-world epic set within the pantheon of the Greek gods. Tinykin, an adventure in which plucky hero Milo has to team up with the titular creature to use their powers to create all manner of objects, rounds out August's Xbox Game Pass offerings.

Inevitably, there are titles due to depart Xbox Game Pass at the end of August, with no less than ten titles on their way out, including the superb Hades, space exploration sim Elite Dangerous, mysterious adventure Myst, NBA 2K22, emotional journey Spiritfarer, thriller Twelve Minutes, offbeat medical sim Two Point Hospital, and more.

On the upside, touch controls have been added to sixteen more Xbox Game Pass games, and there are new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks to claim for Halo Infinite, MultiVersus, and CrossfireX. Check out all of the latest Xbox Game Pass stuff coming in August below.

  • I wonder what Dragon Age Origin plays like in touch mode.

I bet you could get creative with those controls if they put effort in it.
