Dangen Entertainment has announced that OneShot: World Machine Edition, a console version of the 2016 PC puzzle adventure, will be coming in September. On consoles, the game will feature an integrated operating system, enabling you to access files like a computer, and easily minimise the 2D top-down gameplay window.
Featuring “metafictional elements”, OneShot sees you guiding young Niko through a quest to revive a desolate world by reigniting the sun, and with Niko acknowledging you as the player, you'll develop a bond as you traverse the game's barren, post-apocalyptic land together. You'll chat to NPCs, find items, solve puzzles, and more.
Using World Machine's in-game OS, you'll be able to drag and drop file icons, move app windows around, manage files, and even customise the desktop with themes, colours, wallpapers, and more. OneShot: World Machine Edition will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on 22nd September.
