Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio, have released a new gameplay overview trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem, the upcoming sequel to 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence.
The new trailer, which features narrated gameplay, sees Hugo and Amicia continuing their journey, venturing to the south of 14th century France, before setting sail to a mysterious island in the Mediterranean Sea. Using Amicia's new tools, like her crossbow and newfound ability to manipulate fire, you'll need to seek a cure to Hugo's illness.
This means using Amicia's wits and awareness to use the terrain, striking from the shadows using Hugo's power to see enemy movements while moving stealthily, and his ability to use hordes of rats to decimate squads of enemy soldiers. If she's captured, Amicia can also wrestle her way out of the enemy's grasp, and escape.
You can see more of A Plague Tale: Requiem in action in the new gameplay below, ahead of the game's launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 18th October, day one via Xbox Game Pass. You can check out more gameplay here, and look forward to the first episode in a behind-the-scenes video series from 30th August.
