Update 19.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds has rolled out today, bringing with it the new Assassin's Creed crossover, in which Abstergo Industries has set up shop in Haven. Taking control of one of the map's main buildings, Abstergo has a hidden Animus machine, and even a set of strategically placed ‘Leap of Faith’ ledges on the rooftop.
The crossover also include cosmetic rewards, including costumes, bag skins, a parachute skin, an emote, and other items, which can be earned through gameplay. Additionally, Update 19.1 also introduces the MP9 fully-automatic SMG on the Deston map, as well as a new portable Folded Shield on any map, offering 1,500hp of protection.
You can also use the Blue Chip Detector Tactical Gear in your primary weapon slot to scan for enemies within a 100m radius, displaying the nearest twelve enemies on your map. It also detects movement and height changes, updating positions with each screen refresh. A new Pillar Security Car vehicle is also available, with controllable lights and sirens, as well as a top speed of 81mph, and some high quality gear in the trunk.
