Developer ACE Team and publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment have announced that The Eternal Cylinder, the weird open world alien game originally released in September 2021, will be getting an Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 version this October.
Arriving alongside a free Anniversary Update, The Eternal Cylinder will arrive for current-gen platforms with new content, including two new creatures and a powerful new Trebhum mutations, as well as 4K resolution and ray tracing for Xbox Series X and PS5.
The Eternal Cylinder casts you as a tiny Trebhum creature, blessed with the ability to adapt to its surroundings, mutating and evolving with new abilities and attributes to survive hazards and dangerous predators. The update will introduce the herbivore Buddugh Gropp and Gharukuk omnivore creatures.
You'll be able to evolve your Trebhum family when The Eternal Cylinder and its free Anniversary Update arrives for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam on 13th October, with existing owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation versions able to upgrade for free.
