Bandai Namco has dropped a new trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, showcasing the title's new gameplay features, and revealing a release date.
Serving as the finale of season one of The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Devil in Me is building upon the gameplay features of previous entries - Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes.
These gameplay improvements include expanded exploration and traversal mechanics, giving players more freedom in how to explore the space, as well as character inventories, in which you can store helpful items to use in the world. There's also “new gameplay challenges”, which looks to include more traditional, almost Resident Evil-style puzzles. The game will also have a longer runtime than previous Dark Pictures games, with a first playthrough clocking in over 7 hours, according to Supermassive Games.
