Layers of Fear and The Medium developer Bloober Team has released a new trailer for the upcoming Layers of Fears, an Unreal Engine 5-powered sort-of-sequel, featuring a revised version of the original two games, and a brand-new story chapter.
Titled ‘The Final Note’, the new chapter features the Painter's Wife as playable protagonist, revealing her perspective in Bloober's psychedelic and surreal first-person horror. Layers of Fears promises to be the “complete, definitive and… unpredictable” way to play the Layers of Fear saga, with expanded plot lines and other enhancements.
Boasting 4K resolution with ray tracing, HDR, and the Lumen system for “the most immersive horror experience”, Layers of Fears will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2023. Check out the new trailer below.
