Sonic Frontiers Ending Theme by ONE OK ROCK Revealed

SEGA has partnered with Japanese band ONE OK ROCK on a brand new ending theme for Sonic Frontiers.

The song, Vandalize, will presumably play over the game's end credits, and will reflect both the high-speed action and open-zone environment of Sonic Frontiers. Well, you can decide for yourself, with SEGA having released a sample of the song in a new video, overlayed with Sonic Frontiers footage.

“We partnered with SEGA on Sonic Frontiers because we relate to Sonic and how he’s taken on the world after getting his start in Japan,” said ONE OK ROCK lead vocalist Taka. “We are based in the US and have performed in Europe, Asia and South America, so we are extremely happy to be able to work with the world-renowned Sonic.”

“This collaborative song, Vandalize, is very upbeat and has some Japanese-inspired melodies while also sounding like a ONE OK ROCK song. It also matches the cool image of Sonic and his speed when he’s running, so please enjoy Vandalize along with Sonic as he speeds across Sonic Frontiers.”

Is it any good though? Well, at the very least, it matches the pop punk/rock stylings of previous Sonic songs, but we'll always have a soft spot for Crush 40. You can check out the Vandalize video down below.

Sonic Frontiers is due to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 8th November 2022.
