New Marvel Game Sees Black Panther and Captain America Team Up in WWII

Matt Lorrigan

Marvel and Skydance New Media have officially revealed an upcoming Marvel game starring Captain America and Black Panther.

The game is being created by Skydance New Media, the studio founded by Uncharted 2 director Amy Hennig. The developer announced that they were working on a Marvel game last year, before the Captain America and Black Panther details were leaked earlier today.

Even after the officially announcement, details about the game are thin on the ground. For one, it doesn't even have an official title yet. We also saw no gameplay and very little beyond a brief cutscene, but Marvel has said that it is a “new AAA game with an ensemble cast and original story set in our unique Marvel Universe”. So take from that what you will.

You can check out the first teaser trailer down below.

  • Black Panther in WWII?
    Time Travel?
  • I'm sure it's not T'Challa. The Black Panther title is passed down from generation to generation.
  • @bLaKgRaVy hopefully the suit is not the more advance suits shown and hopefully it is definitely nothing like the movies suits cause them suits is super advance
  • It should be Azzuri as the Black Panther since him and Cap had a story back then together but who know Marvel games like establishing their own everything
  • wow...two of marvel's biggest bores in one game...excitement!
