2K and Marvel have announced that Marvel's Midnight Suns will now be releasing in December for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with a date for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game to be shared “at a later date”. The game was delayed last month, having been previously postponed last November.
Developed by XCOM studio Firaxis Games, Midnight Suns will see you playing as a new, customisable Marvel character known as The Hunter, leading a team of powerful, supernatural Super Heroes, as you take on “unholy threats”. As well as a new gameplay trailer to watch below, there's also a new prequel short, offering some backstory on the game's various characters.
Across five shorts, set to be released weekly, you'll find out more about how antagonist Lilith became Mother of Demons, and how the likes of Wolverine, Spider-Man, Blade, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Magik, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Nico Minoru united to form the titular Midnight Suns.
Marvel's Midnight Suns will be launching for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 2nd December 2022 with pre-orders available now.
