Square Enix has announced a December release date for Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion.

A remaster of the 2007 PSP game, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, it tells a story set seven years before the events of the original Final Fantasy VII. You play as Zack Fair, a Shinra soldier with powerful combat abilities, who is sent on a dangerous mission alongside his superiors, Angeal and Sephiroth. Along the way, you'll also meet younger versions of characters from Final Fantasy VII, including Cloud Strife and Yuffie Kisaragi.

The combat system of Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion mixes real-time action with a command system, allowing you to use classic Final Fantasy magic and abilities. You can check out the game in action in the new trailer down below.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion is launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 13th December 2022.

  • Still waiting on ff7R and I don’t want to hear shit about call of duty has to be multiplatform u til Sony gives up their double standard. I’m perfectly fine with Xbox taking cod from Sony and putting it on stem. Far more players anyways.
  • @shanesyhayes well Sony doesn't own FF it's up to Square Enix
  • @scardro, Unless Sony paid Square Enix to have the remake exclusive? We know Sony is infamous for pulling those kind's of tactics.

I'm not here to inflame console war BS, nor am I saying they did get exclusivity (timed or not) to the remake, but Sony does look the fool when they cry about the concern of CoD going exclusive when they do what they do.
  • Complete honesty.... I'd rather play this than Part 1 of the FF7 remake.

    I loved this on PSP.
