Capcom has released a new trailer for Street Fighter 6 today, offering details on the game's World Tour mode, as well as revealing additional characters in the shape of four classic World Warriors for the game's expansive roster. Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, and Ken will all be present and correct. Furthermore, a Closed Beta Test has also been scheduled for October.
World Tour will see you hitting the streets with Luke as your guide, taking your fully customisable avatar through an adventure in which you'll learn how to fight by the Masters. Equipping gear to suit your playstyle, you'll subsequently be able to take your custom avatar into the Battle Hub, where you can take part in online bouts and tournaments, or play classic Capcom games.
Extreme Battle, meanwhile, offers an SF6 party mode in which you can set your own “unusual rules and gimmicks”, for showdowns anyone can partake in and enjoy. You can find out more about World Tour, Fighting Ground, the Battle Hub, and new additions Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, and Ken in the trailer below.
The Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test is also due to take place from 7th to 10th October on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (you can sign up here) with eight characters to choose from, online matches, tournaments, Training Mode, and Extreme Battle modes, as well as cross-play support. Street Fighter 6 launches in 2023.
