Nacon and developer Spiders have announced that Steelrising will be receiving New Game Plus and additional content in an update due to drop next week. The update includes a new difficulty level, four new weapons, and more.

An Assist mode will enable you to adjust Steelrising's difficulty level, enabling players to tailor their own gameplay experience. Like New Game Plus, it'll be available to all players, and can be toggled on and off as you see fit.

A combat-focused action-RPG set in an alternate Paris during the French Revolution, Steelrising has you playing as Aegis, an automaton built to protect the Queen. The new update will be arriving for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 29th September, and also includes a new outfit and new enemy variations.

  • Does this assist mode mean it will make it easier to kill enemies
  • @Goggs, there's already an assist mode that can lower damage taken to 0% among other things but it disables achievements. Not sure what the update will add/change.
  • That case I won’t be getting the game it’s bloody stupid it disabled achievements
