EA has unveiled the full official soundtrack for FIFA 23, which runs to an impressive 100+ songs, from an array of artists, most of whom I've never heard of, so it must be good. As well as 57 “fresh melodies from fan favourites”, you'll also find tracks designed to complement the street soccer of VOLTA Football.
Hits from the likes of Bad Bunny and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, will join tracks from “rising stars” like Baby Tate, Ibeyi, and Pheelz, in a track list made to embody the “rich, global nature of football”. Kits designed by artists such as Jack Harlow, ROSALÍA, Pheelz, Central Cee will also feature in FIFA Ultimate Team, available to unlock from 27th September, when FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition early access goes live.
“This year’s soundtrack demonstrates the breadth of the world’s love for the game, capturing sounds from all sides of the globe,” said Raphaella Lima, EA's Global Music Marketing Director. “We wanted to emphasise the importance of our global football community through music and we’re excited to partner with this incredible group of artists to provide the songs and anthems for the most expansive FIFA ever."
On the menu soundtrack, meanwhile, tunes from FKA Twigs, Flume, MILKBLOOD, Phoenix, Sampa The Great, ODESZA and a host of others will also feature, alongside global sounds from Agolan pop singer PONGO, and Argentine hip-hop artist Trueno. You can take a some of the 100-song FIFA 23 soundtrack in the images below, and enjoy 95 tracks from it on Spotify here.
FIFA 23 launches on 30th September.
