Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics has announced that Winter Soldier will be coming to Marvel's Avengers later this month, as the latest playable hero on the roster. The cyber-armed spy also known as Bucky Barnes, will be arriving for Marvel's Avengers as part of Update 2.7, which also adds the new Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat.

This sees Monica reviving MODOK, but unable to control him, leading to the bulbous headed evil genius taking over AIM's Cloning Lab, and, so, you'll need to assemble to put an end to his nefarious schemes in a new endgame challenge. However, you'll need to be aware that MODOK has acquired some new tricks since your last encounter.

As such, you'll need to have a hero at Power Level 175 in order to enter the Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat, but you'll get new and higher-level gear for your efforts, as the Power Level cap also increases to 185. Further tuning to characters and other fixes will also roll out with Update 2.7.

Winter Soldier, meanwhile, follows the addition of Mighty Thor (Jane Foster), with Scott Porter reprising his role as the voice of Bucky Barnes in LEGO Marvel's Avengers. The character comes to Marvel's Avengers with some of his moves taken from former training partners Captain America and Black Widow, albeit with his own unique take, animations, and cybernetically-enhanced hand-to-hand abilities.

Bucky will also have his own skill tree, heroic abilities, and wardrobe of outfits, when he makes his debut for Marvel's Avengers on 29th November.

  • what's the deal with this game (good/bad)? is it worth playing?
  • @1 honestly it's not bad but it ain't good either even being a hardcore Marvel fan I will say they dropped the ball but it's not boring, just wish they released content as fast as Destiny 2 does
  • @1 Repetitive gameplay, broken co-op, generic level designs, uninspired story and. not great voice acting. All that and the fact it's massively anti-consumer. There's a reason it was a huge flop.
  • @1 i just wish this game had either cross play or cross save or both features to help improve the game.
