Big hair! Big phones! Big shoulder pads! Yes, it's the 80s' roaring back for Lips: I Love The 80s'.

But will you love the 80s'? Maybe if you fancy warbling along to the likes of ABC, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Bananarama, Duran Duran and The Human League. Or maybe you wanna get super freak, super freak-a-super freaky, yow, with Rick James?

The 40-song tracklist reads like a who's who of 80s' pop hits, so you're bound to find something you'll want to screech along to when the game releases on April 2nd for £24.99 or £34.99 with one microphone. One microphone for you to sing alone with, through streams of tears.

  • not a bad list, wouldn't mind picking this one up, I need a new mic anyway
  • BEST LIST EVER!! DAY ONE BUY! THANK YOU INIS!!!! Actually this song list is pretty good.. Disappoited though they are using a lot of Gh/rock band songs. However cant wait!
  • Im rick james bitch! lmao couldnt resist saying that :P
  • Hmm... interesting. Don't think this'll be an instant buy like the others. They've gone out on a limb making a very niche one this time, whereas all the others have been very open to the whole market.
  • Love me some Alphaville!
  • Kind of mad there's no INXS though. Pft! Of course I'd rather them put Kick on RB.
  • No Michael Jackson? Seriously? :l
  • I haven't played any Lips games, but I would totally play this. The setlist looks like a lot of fun. I already have a mic, so I may check this one out.
  • I assume I get my money back for the buggles dlc then? What no? HUH? Where is AHA????
  • 80s? Why don't they include PROPER 80s music then, like Slayer, Metallica, Testament...?
  • GOD DAMNIT LIPS! MAKE IT STOP!
  • nice list... definitly a Day One Buy for my Girlfriend =o)
  • Been racking up the achievements for awhile now and very close to 1500/1500 (1 achievement away) and have actually enjoyed it a little. This title looks the best of the bunch, it really does look a lot of fun!!
  • Why didn't they just take the Vice City Soundtrack. That would've been perfect. Still a great list although I miss a few hits like Running down a dream or I ran >.>
  • I own the first 2 lips games and am waiting to get the 3rd. I love this series! What do you guys think about achievements? Do you think there's gonna be some?
  • Indeed #10, the 80's is missing :P
  • @15 There IS achievements, in fact they look better than the previous ones, no more Star grinding, so for those of us who almost have 200,000, were home free for the 1750/1750 as the 80s achievements look easy! Currently on 187,000 Stars here.
  • lmao well they only need one mic I mean with a song choice like that noones gonna want to play with
  • Unlike the #1 hits that I made the mistake of buying, I won't buy this on day one. It does however look like an excellent list, especially since I don't (think I) have any on RB2. Probably wait until the price goes down on slightly used disks. Going to be a great addition though & worth the wait. IMO
  • @10: Because songs from those bands have amazing instrumentals, ones which are a driving force in the music. Stuff from those artists is more likely to pop up in Rock Band or Guitar Hero (which it has, in some cases already). Games where you can both sing and play along with the guitar, bass, drums. Whereas Lips is simply a karaoke game, so these types of songs fit just fine.
  • Very nice list.
  • Its March now so give it 'till november-ish and il pick it up for my mum to get all nostaligic
  • I am just wondering if this is a UK only release or will it be availible in the US?
  • Overall this is disappointing. I'm all about the 80's, but they are still leaning towards 90% pop songs. Where are the ROCK songs? Foreigner... Journey... Yes... Kansas... Styx... Rush... Stryper... come on!!!!
  • Oh, and can't forget about Boston - Amanda. UGHGHGHGH too much Pop.
  • #24 because when majority of people think about the 80's, its the poppy side of it that stood out. Sure, lots of great rock and such, but the 80's just had that pop feel. Ah, i miss those good old days. Id love the rock songs though!
  • Loving Erasure and Duran Duran, another definate buy for me
  • Um did I just see someone said they should have Stryper on this list? Wow,maybe its just the cold medicine messing with my mind no its there (pukes)!
  • Stryper is more talented than you'd ever wish you could be. You just hate them because they are Christian. Sad...
  • Has this released yet? I have been looking online to buy it, but it doesn't even have a preorder announced anywhere I can find yet.
  • Release only in the U.K
