If you're having withdrawal symptoms from a lack of gaming news and updates this Easter weekend, we have the perfect cure. A Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands interview.

Whilst the Ubisoft Montreal team were demoing their game in London recently, we got the chance to catch up with Jan Erik Sjovall to talk about the return to the "classic" Prince of Persia Sands of Time roots, the 2008 Prince of Persia title and we even touch a little bit on the film... that has nothing to do with the game.

If that doesn't satisfy your gaming hungry needs, check out our recent hands on preview of the title if you haven't already. If you have... check it out again, why the hell not!

  • Cant wait for this game.
  • I'll definitely be checking game out.
  • I'm interested....
  • Looks like they've really taken on board the critisms of the last. Looking forward to it!
  • Looking good.
  • a movie game that's good???
  • Too bad this is getting released the same day as Red Dead Redemption. Sorry Prince, as big a fan of the series as I am, the sands of time are gonna have to wait a few months.
  • lol @ 7 I tried the 2008 one, and did NOT like it. Never played the others either.
  • @8: The 2008 game was not at all like the original trilogy, so don't base your opinion of the series off of that game. If this game is more similar to the originals in terms of difficulty and playability then it will definitely be worth checking out. The first three games are certainly worth playing too.
  • I agree with #7, there's to many other games coming out in May that I want even though I like the PoP series alot. This isn't even in my top 5 for the month. Red Dead, Lost Planet 2, Skate 3, Blur, Split Second, and Alan Wake will be played before I get around to this.
  • @6 This isnt a film game... The development of the game started before the movie
  • Alan Wake and this, man I cant wait
