Good old Earthworm Jim . . . me like!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:27 PM
Didn't Earthworm Jim get taken off the vote halfway though, then ToeJam and Earl won it?Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:27 PM
actually, earthworm jim didn't win the competition, it was picked up by another publisher during the poll, and as a result, toe jam and earl won that competition by default when they finished second.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:27 PM
I loved Earthworm Jim! Can't wait to play it again. I'd love the see the sequel too.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:29 PM
Gotta say altho it does look amazing... I played it to death on Megadrive (Genesis) and I was absoluty rubish at it which really puts it down for me.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:30 PM
Played too much of that game on the Sega and Gameboy... I'll pass on this.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:49 PM
Best Game Ever. I'm buying my points for this now!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 04:55 PM
CANT. FRICKIN. WAIT. i still have the cartridge version for genesis too btw :pMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:04 PM
toe jam and earl should have won that vote it would have been fun playing co-op onlineMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:07 PM
Earthworm Jim DIDN'T win, because the developers decided that they'd release EJ anyway. Hence the reset of the polls, and the result of Toejam and Earl winning THAT poll. Toejam and Earl is what I'm really interested in hearing about. SEGA should get their crap together and get the rights from the creator, Greg Johnson. That's the only reason these games have been taking so long to be released.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:08 PM
@11 , read comments 4 and 5, TJ&E did win the poll, and should be coming soon tooMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:17 PM
@4/5/11 - It was winning though, right? Until they pulled it. I'm counting that as a win to me. If I recall correctly, it had a massive lead as well. What makes me say that? Well, cause I was lobbying for TJ&E =PMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:19 PM
i wanna "IMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:19 PM
I will so buy this. I haven't played Earthworm Jim in 15 years I bet.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:30 PM
Both games are crap lol, GOLDEN AXE 2 should have won...Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:32 PM
Isn't gameloft the ones that make games for cell phones?? Anyways looks awesome^^Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:36 PM
I voted Toe Jam and Earl but I can't complain about Earthworm Jim that's for sure. Love both of 'em. Now that you guys brought it up I want a new Toe Jam and Earl.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:36 PM
yes!!!! :DMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:42 PM
Haha, I AM THE NO.1 EARTHWORM JIM FAN!!! MEEEE!!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 05:51 PM
#17 Your taste sucks. Golden Axe 2 was terrible compaired to the first one. Earth Worm Jim is one of the best 5 games to ever grace the Sega Megadrive. So take your hate comments elsewere.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 06:27 PM
does anyone remember jurassic park on the mega drive now that was an awesome game played it to death though!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 06:54 PM
@#23 fuckin yes!!! i want that jp game to be released on xbla =PMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 07:20 PM
@23 and 24...the master system version was better imo. would love any of them though :)Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 07:24 PM
@12 I agree, SEGA should get their crap together..... SHENMUE!!!!!!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 07:38 PM

COW LAUNCHING!!!!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 08:02 PM
@23/24 did either of you play Jurassic Park for the Sega CD? OMG that game was so amazing. Wish I still had my Sega/CD/32X :( one day when I was like 16 my mom sold 'em at a garage sale. So sad.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 08:33 PM
I remember being absolutely awful at this game but I'll still grab it when it gets released - so much fun!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 09:06 PM
This looks awesome, i'm glad they haven't messed around with the graphics of the original like other companies have done to classic games. I remember this game being fun and frustrating at the same time, it will be an instant buy though.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 09:27 PM
As much as I like Earthworm Jim and Toejam & Earl... the games I voted for (Golden Axe 2 and Streets of Rage 1) would have been better on XBLA because they're co-op games that would benefit most from an online community.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 09:27 PM
Earthworm Jim is a great classic and all, but I would have rather seen Shining Force 1 OR 2, Beyond Oasis, Landstalker.....something along those lines with HOURS of gameplay. LONG LIVE SEGAMonday, April 19, 2010 @ 11:43 PM
I thought Toejam & Earl won the contest?? Oh well this is just as good.Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 11:44 PM
this is amazing, simply amazing. I cant wait!!Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 11:51 PM
At Comic Con 09' in San Diego, I picked up a bootleg of The Animated Series of Earthworm Jim, and then I walked over to Doug TenNapel's booth (the creator of Jim)and showed it to him. He took out the sleeve and wrote across the bottom, "I APPRove. -DouG TenNaPeL" F**king awesome that this game is coming out soon for the 360 Arcade soon.Tuesday, April 20, 2010 @ 12:49 AM

I liked EJ back in the day. I even loved the cartoon. Still, nostalgia isn't enough to make me shell out money for it.Tuesday, April 20, 2010 @ 02:06 AM
As long as i dont have to bounce puppies on a mattress again and get mauled by that dog lol.Tuesday, April 20, 2010 @ 02:14 AM

Remember that Xbox Live Arcade competition last year that SEGA ran? Sure you do... you know, the one where SEGA asked fans which game they wanted to see on the Xbox Live Arcade service. Yes, the same one Earthworm Jim
wonwas pulled from after being snapped up by another publisher. Well since then, nothing! That's how much we've heard about our earthy chum.Until now! (I love doing that).
Gameloft's recent Earthworm Jim competition over on their YouTube channel shows a brief glimpse at our beloved earthworm in action, fresh with hamster riding, crow shooting and bungee jumping gameplay. Marvellous!
Check it out below.
