i dont understand the attraction to pinball gamesFriday, December 03, 2010 @ 07:24 AM
Well, for me it's nostalgia for the most part. I grew up with (real) pinball and unfortunately, they are nowhere to be found these days, not even in our arcades. :(Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 07:58 AM
i think this shouldve been on the original game :/ Twitter - @xFunnymanFriday, December 03, 2010 @ 08:41 AM
Pinball machines have a tendancy to wreck themselves. You have a solid steel ball bouncing around glass, plastic, metal, and rubber. They get expensive to maintain and wear out over time. Which is why they are disappearing from arcades, as well as the arcades themselves. The few still around mostly have ticket redemption machines that are kid friendly. Most of the time though the items themselves are cheaper to buy outright than gamble for tickets to get. Still, I'd love me a few real ones (Addams Family was my personal favorite.)Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 08:45 AM
I had never been a fan of pinball until Pinball FX and now FX2. I thought it was great that they transfered everything from the 1st game over to the 2nd no charge cuz I had purchased every table on the old 1. FX2 is just way to much fun and these new tables look amazing.. sux its going to be 800ms points but at least its a nice addition to the game!Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 08:57 AM
I loved pinball since I was a kid, and am loving these games between this and Williams collection to have and play all the time. I have a diner/dive bar nearby that has a room packed with old arcade and pinball machines that I hit up quite a bit for late night fun...always good kickin back with a beer and rockin some Twilight Zone or Addams Fam pinball.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 09:03 AM
Pinball FX2 and the Williams Collection are both great games. I actually prefer video pinball to actual pinball (mostly because I was never any good at the real thing), though I will always miss a loud, smoke-filled arcade. Good times.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 09:04 AM
800 points for 4 tables doesn't seem too bad to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO4BlGOUH1MFriday, December 03, 2010 @ 09:28 AM
I am still waiting on DoTW on this and now I will have to add DLC to the wait list. Looks sick!Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 10:33 AM
"Are the balls adamantium?" Mines are! Also, there was a pinball game calles martian attack or something of that nature. If they put that on here I'd have to get it. That or the simpsons table.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 01:56 PM
for everyone that just does not get pinball... it's an almost "zen" like experience. So easy to get mesmerized. I didn't get the game... but I will be.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 05:02 PM
@7 TWILIGHT ZONE TABLE WAS THE SHIT! I must have wasted 50 bucks on that machine back in the day.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 07:09 PM
Cannot wait until these tables are released. Got my points ready for day 1.Friday, December 03, 2010 @ 10:49 PM
@2 then you may just be too young! I love pinball! Anytime im out at a bar that has a pinball machine, you can count on me throwin some quarters in it! PBFX2 is the best pinball simulator i have played since Pin-bot back on the NES!Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 12:00 AM
All, i can say is pinball was and still is the one the best games goin. If u haven't played PBFX and PBFX2 spend the points its worth it. ive always been a fan however my girlfriend thought i was nuts to spends points on PBFX, now i can't get the controller out of her hand. I would love to see some classics remade for XBOX360 Adams Family, Fish Tails, Terminator, ahhhhhhhhhh, those were the days!!!!Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 09:54 AM
Pinball is a classic game yes, but adding marvel characters just seems like a cash grab of sorts. Probably better off playing a standard pinball game like PBFX in my opinion.Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 10:13 AM
This was better off as an easter egg in marvel ultimate alliance 1 or 2Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 12:38 PM
The new achievements is up on Xbox.com. Can't wait for this. Too bad I missed the tournament where you could win a code for this. Didn't hear about the tournament before it was over, not that I would have had any chance winning it though.Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 01:45 PM
The epitome of awesome.Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 04:01 PM
Looks great. More tables for me to have to buy now...Sunday, December 05, 2010 @ 12:00 AM
@19 i looked at pfx2 website the other day and i swear you have till Dec 7 to play tourney to win free tables. last tie i checked tourney scores top score was over 4 billion pointsSunday, December 05, 2010 @ 02:05 AM
#22: Maybe they have a new tournament up and running? To be honest, I haven't checked Pinball FX2 in a while, but I do know that a few got a head start by one week on the new tables through a code they obtained in a tournament.Sunday, December 05, 2010 @ 02:16 AM
#22: Yeah, checked Pinballfx.com and you're right. The tournament ends on December 7th. Maybe they gave out a few codes early to the highest score or something, because there are few people already playing the Marvel tables.Sunday, December 05, 2010 @ 04:54 AM
Hey, does anyone know if I would have to buy the full core game to get this DLC or if I could just download the free Pinball FX2 and then just buy this DLC? I'm a big marvel fan so I can justify spending 800msp for these tables but don't fancy having to fork out another 800 too.Sunday, December 05, 2010 @ 05:07 AM
I'll pick it up probably simply because its MarvelSunday, December 05, 2010 @ 09:34 AM
#25: Yeah, you don't need buy anything else if you don't want to. You can also demo every table inside the Pinball FX2 app.Monday, December 06, 2010 @ 04:19 AM

Marvel Pinball is set to feature some of the comic book's finest rivalries as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Blade and Wolverine all get their own bespoke pinball tables that'll have the heroes and villains acting out battles as the balls ping around racking up high scores.
The tables will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade as premium DLC for Pinball FX 2 and developer Zen Studios has released new screens and a trailer for Marvel Pinball's Wolverine table today, which has Sabretooth lurking, waiting to pounce on Logan at any time and the Silver Samurai standing in the corner, spinning his katanas.
Wolvie's adamantium-laced pinball table is on the way when Marvel Pinball hits the Xbox Live Arcade on December 8th. Will it be the best there is at what it does? You'll have to spend 800 Microsoft Points to find out.
