Dr. Kawashima's Body & Brain Exercises Getting Two Add-On Packs

By now, your cranium should be a veiny, pulsating, bulbous mass if you've been playing Dr. Kawashima's Body & Brain Exercises on a regular basis with Kinect, and you'll no doubt be thirsting for new challenges to help grow yor mushy glowing lump of grey matter throbbing away in your brainpan. Guess what? You're in luck!

Namco Bandai has announced that there will be two new exercise packs to add to player's brain training repertoires, introducing new modes and activities. Higher Learning I is available from the Xbox Live Marketplace now and can be added to your download queue here. It adds the Endless Edition mode, which throws exercises at you and keeps going until you make an error, as well as a host of other new exercises.

The packs also add activities for the new Duel Mode, that pits two players head to head in a battle of wits. Higher Learning II is out at the end of April. Check out details and screens for both packs below:

Higher Learning I – Available now (400 Microsoft Points)

Exercises

  • Hit and Step – Memorize the order of hand and feet icons as they appear onscreen.
  • Figure It Out – Select the allotted shapes to construct a duplicate of the model object.

Endless Edition Mode

  • Traffic Control – Create bridges with your arms to safely guide vehicles to the other side of the screen.
  • Math Jock – Kick the soccer ball with the correct solution to the math problem at the top of the screen.

Duel Mode

  • What Time Is It? – Move your arms like the hour and minutes hand of a clock to point out the displayed time.
  • Touch ‘n Go – Use your hands to help keep PAC-MAN and Pooka safe from the Ghosts.

Higher Learning II – Available end of April (400 Microsoft Points)

Exercises

  • Mime Games – Strike the same pose as the on-screen avatar.
  • Even Split – Split the Ferris Wheel into two equal halves!

Endless Edition Mode

  • Mouse Mayhem – Hit the mice with your hands and feet as they appear!
  • Touch ‘n Go – Use your hands to help keep PAC-MAN and Pooka safe from the Ghosts.

Duel Mode

  • Follow the Arrows – Use your arms to mimic the arrows that light up on screen.
  • Strike a Pose – Mimic the pose of the missing avatar.

  • I don't even have Kinect LOL! Heard the game was mediocre, so I would give it a pass anyhow:-P
  • I'm surprised that little LightBuld guy hasn't been made into a Pokémon yet!
  • Although I think this is a great game to stimulate kids minds etc I want some hardcore kinect games to be released. I'm still playing and happy with Adventures, Kinect sports, EA sports active 2 and Dance Central. Looking forward to the Gunstringer and Star Wars though.
