New screenshots for Dark Souls have emerged from Namco Bandai's LevelUp conference in Dubai, showing more of the game's gloomy dungeon-trawling action that's set to have you tearing your hair out in gleeful frustration (yes, we know that's a massive oxymoron) when it releases later this year.
Showing some of the game's towering bosses, traps and smaller minions that you'll be facing, these new screens clearly indicate that Dark Souls is every bit the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls that it promises to be, with labyrinthine catacombs and fearsome foes aplenty.
Further to yesterday's report, the Dark Souls Limited Edition is also available for no extra charge in Europe if you pre-order, with an art book, game guide, and soundtrack and making of discs, all packaged in an exclusive folded limited edition box. You can check out what it looks like below. Rather tasty, we think you'll agree.
Check out twelve new images from Dark Souls in the gallery and keep your blade primed and ready for the game's release in early October 2011.
