L.A. Noire Not Complete Yet. More DLC To Come

Richard Walker

Following the release of LA Noire's 'Reefer Madness' Vice Case this week, some new clues have come to light today regarding the proposition of future downloadable content for the ongoing exploits of Detective Cole Phelps and his long-suffering partners.

"The game isn't complete yet," a Rockstar representative told Kotaku, when the site enquired whether the last announced piece of DLC, the aforementioned Reefer Madness case, was the final instalment in terms of add-ons. There's now five additional cases available for LA Noire, but if this comment is to be believed, there's potentially more where that came from.

So, could Rockstar restore some of LA Noire's deleted cases, such as those from the cut Burglarly desk? Or could we be looking at a larger chunk of content like Lost and Damned or Ballad of Gay Tony? Or better still, what about LA Noire: Undead Nightmare? Okay, maybe not. We'll just have to hang tight and see what Rockstar and Team Bondi has in store for LA Noire's DLC to complete the game.

[Thanks, Jonathan]

  • Awesome news, I wonder what the final GS will be. 1750 is the max isn't it? I'm thinking 1600.
  • I'll take it however it comes. Just glad to hear there is more in the pipeline.
  • Hope they are all included in the Rockstar pass! Can't get enough of this game.
  • Woo! So glad to hear this, I have 1400 GS for it now but would love more DLC, this game Is so amazing, I was wondering a while ago if they would bring something out like TBoGT, along the lines of maybe having a whole new story playing as a new character? Or maybe good old Jack Kelso again? Hopefully, we'll see.
  • To the douchebag who originally tried to call me an idiot in hoping for more DLC and his exclaim that there would be NO more DLC...I hope that dick shaped boot tastes good because I know it went deep throat. Great news! Haven't even started the recent 2 yet. MOAR!!!
  • would this be included in the pass? this better be cause thats milking the cow if its not.
  • Really good news. I was worried that anything else may get cancelled what with all the crap going on between Rockstar and Team Bondi. Im really hopeing they will include some new street crimes and more collectables. I love the cases but i want something that gives me an excuse to drive around and explore more.
  • Good news. I just hope that it's better than Reefer Madness, because that was a little disappointing imo.
  • God dammit, could this not have been revealed a few hours earlier, I traded my copy in since we were previously told by Brendan McNamara that there were no plans for further DLC, also, people need to stop listing Burglary and Bunko as potential DLC, they were said to never get beyond conceptual stages. 1400 will do for me, unless the rest of the add-ons are included in the Rockstar pass, then a rental may be needed
  • Good to hear, I wanted to end it on a nice number because 1400 just doesn't feel right. I'm glad I heard about this before I sold it because I, like Zoidberg up there heard from someone that the game wouldn't have anymore DLC. Aside from all of that, I completed Reefer Madness in around 15 minutes so I just hope they make it a bit longer. - Possible spoilers follow - I would also rather it continue from something after the actual storyline instead of cases which occur before the big ending. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that wants that bastard Roy dealt with.
  • dlc is ok by me if its for a single player game like this. my problem hear is how the rockstar rep worded it to kotaku. "the game isnt complete yet"? so the game i bought in the store for 60 dollars isnt a complete game? maybe they should state that on the packaging for when you decide wether or not to buy the game. i like this game alot but i am getting tired of the dlc cash cow machine...if ya know what i mean.
  • I wonder if we'll get the PS3 exclusive case the "Consul's Car"?
  • YES!!! Make an expansion or maybe more cases with Kelso after the main story ends.
  • Lol at everybody who traded it in yesterday after completing the latest DLC
  • i doubt this potential dlc will be part of the current rockstar pass. i have the pass and they already listed what was included with it. reefer madness is the last dlc for the pass. they may do another rockstar pass tho. but free dlc sounds like the best pricing option to me. =)
  • I hope it is the deleted case desk 5 cases sounds a decent chunk, though im wondering how it would fit into the story
  • @11 - In my opinion, even if it weren't a fully complete game I was still as happy as Larry playing it, which basically means extremely satisfied. well worth the money. I by no means would consider this an unfinished game.
  • aww. i wanted to trade it in.
  • i guess this is cool...but the game is getting very repetitive so something new or different would be nice...but nevertheless an excellent game... =)
  • @ 11 - That's any given game in the past couple years recently. Not Complete doesn't mean it's not finished for retail. Most everything has something to add on so it's like a never ending adventure (that ends eventually) but it's the ride that makes it. And I don't read Kotaku anymore specifically b/c they're like the Post vs any DECENT newspaper. It's full of junk. That DLC isn't so much a "cash cow". Deadlines are made, money is left over or whatever the reason, I'm much happier to have the developer invest it into a piece of content for the player rather than they just stick it in their wallet and frantically spend it on junk. At least it's going in a revolving circle from them to us back to them. It's economics buddy. And I've said it many times, Rockstar, Valve, Ubisoft, Bungie/343 and Visceral (recently) are less than likely to skimp on the product and surely give you your moneys worth. All of said devs have offered more than decent content FREE.
  • How about an X-Files Desk, you get hired by ther FBI to investigate Paranormal Cases. It sounds wierd I know, but is it any stranger than Undead Nightmare was?
  • @ 19 - Name one game in history that has little to no repetition. These arguments are getting tiresome. Not knocking you bucko but people are using that line as a serious cop out to not like a game. Movies are repetitive. Television is repetitive. Fuck, your (everyones) life is repetitive! Wake up -Eat -School/work -Eat -Hang/Activity/Work -Eat -Relax/entertainment -Eat/sleep Monopoly is one of the best and most popular board games of all time. There are countless versions of it. But aside from aesthetics, it's the exact same repetitive game as when it debuted.
  • Am I the only person who is put off by the DLC? Not because of any self-entitled bullshit, but because it thrusts you around randomly in the timeline? I mean, after completing the game do you really give half an expletive about going back and doing a Vice case? You already know the outcome of the game, why the hell do you want to backtrack in the timeline?
  • @ 21 - ....that's an ingenious idea/scenario! Maybe not even legit paranormal but investigations into such and turn out to be bogus. Could be a good runaround or "What If" dealio.
  • @ 21 brilliant
  • @ 23 - If you warrant a second playthrough or just haven't even finished yet, the DLC goes in with the timeline. I had the first 2 DLCS from the start and they progressed naturally in their field. And yes, some people do give such an expletive due to completionists.
  • I hope this isn't included in the Rockstar pass, cause I decided not to get it since I pre-ordered from Gamestop and aleady had one of the cases, but if this is gonna be included, I'm gonna be angry if it's expensive and I wish I would've gotten the Rockstar pass haha.
  • Good egg! Hopefully they'll also work with the rockstar pass :)
  • LA noire undead nightmare would be really really cool.
  • I thought there was only 4 cases to date? What am I missing. Also happy about the news and sort of saw it coming anyway. Just hope they will include them in the pass or at least make another pass for some bargain price:-)
  • i only commented on them bringing out new dlc in the noire thread the other day and it looks like they might actually do it. hope it is more interesting than what has come so far though
  • Finally more case thank god I though it is last DLC. Cannot wait BRING IT ON!!!! Love LA Noire :D
  • @21 Dude I have to agree with some of the others above. That would be a stellar idea some 'haunted" Hollywood(land) mansion. Effing Brilliant!
  • @22 Doesn't change the fact LA Noire was completely boring due to its repetition.
  • I want to play as Rusty who is about to retire but has one more case to hunt down a guy whos causing havoc around the city... Oh wait..thats Falling Down with Michael Douglas..
  • @ 34 - I enjoyed it as a more linear take on Rockstar games (which its still Team Bondi). I'm not even big on the Noire Detective seen or the time period but they hit the nail on the head. And it was boring to you and those who felt so. It's still a big milestone in the TB/R* book. People said the same thing about Assassin's Creed. All you really did was run to places, pickpocket, interrogate and assassinate someone but it's what really happened during those times. Some of these devs are following more and more to the core of recreating an experience rather than say a military FPS that just gets an ex navy seal for some pointers. It's a To Each Their Own tune, sir.
  • Give me a campaign playing as a criminal! Please!
  • If so, does the unnanounced DLC still count for free under the Rockstar pass?
  • @21 - Really good idea, I would really love playing that. @34 - I didn't find the game to be repetitive in any way, I understand how people could see it in that light but I just never got bored of it personally.
  • I'm really looking forward to more DLC. this game has no replay value. I'll probably never play it again if theres no more DLC :/ 1750G would be nice. I've got all 1400 so far :)
  • There was a show in the 70s called Kolchak: The Night Stalker http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071003/ that was awesome. The father from A Christmas Story played an investigative reporter of the paranormal....vampires, werewolves....this would be an awesome sort of Halloween DLC... (I can just see Rusty roughing up some undead thug!) These shows are on netflix instant viewing. Love this game!
  • This line worries me, "We'll just have to hang tight and see what Rockstar and Team Bondi has in store for LA Noire's DLC to complete the game." Did most of us not pay $60 for what we thought was a complete game? I'm sure most of us also paid for the rockstars pass for the extra dlc. Should this not be enough for a 'complete game'? It worries me because I don't want to see respectable game companies leave out parts of their game on purpose, just to offer it later as dlc and we have to pay for it, just to experience the full game. I'm all for DLC, but IMO, I think it should add something to the game, as an addition, and provide extra content that couldn't normally be done within the normal retail game. A whole new desk with a new partner, and cases would be a perfect example of a good dlc.
  • lol @ 22 this game could have been if they got rid of homicide and put in kidnapping and put in burglary.
  • Milk, Milk, Milk, Milk that cry dry. Then turn around and release a LA Noire Game of the Year Edition with all the DLC and updates thats when i'll buy. Not at sixty dollars then all the DLC
  • I miss the days when games were sold with everything in them and not missing out details that required DLC's to fill the gap. It's like buying a car without tires or seats or an engine. You still have the body but you need to buy everything else to make it complete.
  • yay long as you can get the content using the pass then ill be playing
  • @45 Except none of the DLC cases are really relevant to the story. I understand the idea, but you wouldn't miss out if you hadn't got them.
  • @47 No but while playing those cases I realized that they speak quite a bit about some of the other cases that are going on at the time or they give a bit more background into the story. I just feel that those should have been released with the game. I just hope future DLC's are a bit more time consuming like GTA's LOTD & BOGT or Red Dead's Undead Nightmare.
  • Hope it comes soon, planning on selling the game so i can get some cash to buy GoW 3 ^^
  • Sold it earlier, as in hindsight, the game sort of sucked and that last piece of dire DLC didn't help. I'll rent it again for the completion percentage though.
  • "Comment #30 by ViNyLek I thought there was only 4 cases to date? What am I missing." When the Rockstar guy was talking about the 5 cases, maybe he was thinking of the PS3 exclusive case, "The Consul's Car".
  • damn i literally just got 1400 yesterday with the dlc dropping, then i sent it back to gamefly cause i thought there wouldnt be anymore dlc coming out.. :[ it will most likely not be out for quite sometime though so whatever i guess the corner rentle store will have to due when and if more dlc does come out. Rockstar and Bondi you tricky guys you..
  • Hopefully this will entail cases from the Bunco/Fraud desk, the Burglary desk. The PS3 exclusive Consul's Car traffic case and more cases from Patrol, Traffic, Homicide, Vice & Arson. Also, would be cool if it included a expansion that takes place after the events of the main game where you play as Jack Kelso.
  • I for one love this game, It was a little too GTA for me. I would have preferred to not have to look for hidden packages and whatnot but that is one of the staples of a R* game. It was a perfect way to bring old school point and click adventures into the modern era. I really hope they do some homicide desk dlc, I would love some cases thee that don't deal with the Black Dahlia. As long as I don't have to partner with Roy or play as that hack Kelso again I will be happy.
  • Didnt it get dlc like the day after
  • @54 finding the film reels was one of my fave bits. Got to go to loads of places I hadnt come across within the story! Getting a hidden cool looking car and just riding around was awesome. And I only found out the other day you can have it on Black and White.. IDIOT!
  • its either gonna stop at 1750G or will be the first 360 game to break the 1750G barrier, theres already that pc game i think its dawn of war or warhammer one of the two that has 2000G for it. I still keep trying to get lovefilm to send it me and its one of my red priority games and they just keep sending me orange priorities.
  • @21 that's actually not a bad idea (I'm serious)
  • They're not going to add extra desks. They'd need a whole disc to cover that. As for "not complete" you know exactly what they mean. Stop being idiots.
  • You guys hear that? That's the sound of everyone who traded it in yesterday thinking that their 100% was now secure forever screaming "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"
  • I. KNEW. IT. My guess is on one last case (free fro everyone, adding 100G... 3rd R* game@1500G that way) to give the game a proper ending.
  • Really hope it's included in the R* Pass!
  • I am prepared for massive thumbs down, put when I read about people who trade their games in, I kinda die a little on the inside. I mean, if it is a game I enjoy, I'd keep it, maybe pass down to my kids (when I have them. :|), and show them what dad was playing. I'm sure everybody here is old enough to remember when Atari came out either gave them to their kids, or were given to by their older brothers/sisters. And I miss the days where most games had a hot seat/offline split-screen mode. :/
  • Personally I was looking forward to being done with the game in 5 cheevos time, but I'll wait & see what it turns out to be before I moan too much
  • I'm happy I could contribute to this community.
  • This won't be included in the pass will it?
  • good news the games boring as hell after you get the achievements theres literly nothing to do and thumbs down this comment nerds i dont give a fuck
  • Very nice! It would be great if this was included in the Rockstar Pass but honestly I wouldn't mind if it were additional content. The value I've gotten out of the pass has been exceptional. Just pleased that there's more to the story. Buglary Desk would be outstanding!
  • I just did my final achievement of 5 starring every single case tonight. Was very sad to have everything done as I loved the game so much! Now seeing this...just made my day! It would be pretty awesome if they did release some sort of expansion/larger content than the single case DLC's they've been doing. IMO they've done a great deal of justice to this game. I really can't see why so many people have slated it...then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just such a unique game which stands out massively. A really simple gameplay mechanic really can be the best way to go in this case. Even though the gameplay is somewhat repetitive (just like thousands of other games in history), it's the story of games which make the gameplay exciting from start to finish! That's my personal opinion anyway.
  • @22 minecraft isn't repetitive and neither is life thanks to the amount of stuff you can do and it isn't set in a linear way, l.a noire on the other hand is repetitive, it started out great but after that was incredibly dull and towards the last cases (especially vice onwards) it was a chore to play. I enjoyed collecting the film reels more then playing the next case, the game itself had major plot holes and it made the story make no sence. *SPOILER* Why did he run off with the German woman when he never said anything was wrong at home, im supposed to be living Coles life yet I don't get to know why he did that? *End Spoiler* People are allowed an opinion and if someone says this game is repetitive then leave them to it, don't just assume they bash it because they don't like it, he even said it's a great game which it is for the first 10 hours then you find yourself doing the same thing again. Also final note, monopoly is never the same when you play it due to dice being used I'm sure no one would play it if it had a pre set winner, you fail.
  • People whinging that DLC should have been included in the full game never cease to make me laugh. How many of you bought the game second hand? Or borrowed it off a mate? Or rented it? If this is you, you've paid the developers NOTHING so far. The DLC is optional. You want it, you pay for it. If you don't, don't. It really ain't rocket science.
  • no one is going to read my comment but I love this game and more DLC is great :)
  • Reefer madness had its funny parts, but was pretty short
  • great news. can only hope this is included with pass. If not i'll probably still end up buying it cauz this game is great.
  • Soooooo, GOTY edition confirmed at some point? Seems likely will all this DLC being released! Good stuff, a great game being supported by a great publisher (in this instance).
  • Oh boo hoo you guys downvoted me! I shall go cry now. Oh wait...you guys are just trying to justify spending $60 on a 20 hour game. Continue on with your silly stupid ways :)
  • well okay, so does that confirm a 5th DLC or along the lines of Lost And Damned installment????? either way, i like to see more cases, but when. right now, i'm at 60/60 achievements for LA Noire.
  • OMG LA Noire Undead Nightmare would be the best Haha!
  • I really like 21s idea for a X-files type of desk. Would be great playing a kind of cross between old style B-movies and X-files. Rockstar, give that man a job!
  • Nice my bro has this game (Which i obviously play to like) Can't wait for all the DLC's i love this game.
  • im sure their contract agreement expressed it, but i dont understand why the Rockstar logo and their name is always used when discussing this game, Team Bondi are the ones who actually made it. you never see the press say Activision when they talk about each edition of Call of Duty, they refer to either IW or Treyarch.
  • I rented LA noire and felt ripped off. The people saying oh yay I get to pay $15 for a 20 minutes of gameplay are retarded.
  • @5 Well it would be easy to make that mistake when R* themselves confirmed that there would not be anymore DLC, multiple times Happy to hear it, but I'm dirty at Rockstar for the bullshit. Of course they bloody knew there'd be more DLC, but instead they just bullshit us and tell us that there won't be.
  • As excited as I am for more dlc for noire anyone who played reefer madness now knows it was about 15-20 minutes long. If they release more dlc I hope it's an entire desk and not some stand alone mission.
  • Good News, everyone!!
  • @76: Yeah, let's spend 60$ on a 6 hour game like Call Of Duty, that will be fun for one afternoon
  • Well considering the Rockstar pass stated that there was 4 DLC cases, i assumed just 4 so traded my copy in. If the new DLC is included in the pass then I'll rent from lovefilm or something when it comes out or once they are all out because I really enjoyed the game but now i've got 1400g theres nothing for me to do on it, I've replayed most cases multiple times so traded it in an got AC Brotherhood. Very annoyed now, if they aren't included in the pass I'll be pissed but might stil rent and pay for DLC as I really did enjoy this game. Time will tell.
  • I hope the cases will be longer. I think I did Reefer Madness in 10min. They could just release at least a group of cases together.
  • @72 I just read your comment :)
  • @88 I know what you mean, possibly the shortest case in the game, even using guides on the other cases took longer, there was just nothing too it. very disappointed with Reefer Madness
  • "The game isn't complete yet," a Rockstar representative told Kotaku that statement really bothers me. And before you go crazy ive bought hundreds of dollars of dlc over the years-so its not that im bitching about the dlc its the statement they made
  • Now why's everyone gone on and started hating on this Flibbity here yo?! This guys speaks the truth.
  • I hope all the L.A. Noire DLC will come to a standalone disc release (like GTA IV: The Episodes of Liberty City and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Collection). I mean, not all people can download DLCs.
  • 1/3 of these comments is by that guy with the Smoke gamerpicture.
  • *Are
  • I felt kind of cheated in the Rockstar Pass. I received a piece of DLC for pre-ordering the game, so the pass only saved me about a dollar, if that. Then I waited for Reefer Madness, and it was a total letdown. The entire case consists of only two questions, but about twenty clues? I'll pass on future DLC and remove this from my collection. Sorry to everyone that loves this game, but there's almost no replay-ability, I didn't find it worth keeping.
  • Hey I agree some people about next DLC should be longer one. I think it should be long case with story about robbery about steals and cheater about money. R* you can get new DLC with murder case again but I think it should nice bit move and let story DLC about robbery and cheater more or get more story about Jack Kelso. Maybe have all in one DLC will be great. :D Good luck to R* and Team Bondi for their working on it!! LA Noire is one of my favourite games this year, I don't care about some that think shit or boring. My opinion I am almost loved it.
  • All these DLC's coming out for LA noire is great it's making me look even more forward to getting the game although still slightly unsure if the repetative cases will bore me.
  • Well now I'm Pissed...traded this in yesterday after doing reefer madness and reading everywhere that there would be no more DLC for this game in any way shape or form!!!....bastads!
  • Here's the solution: Stop trading in games.
  • @100 if i didnt trade in games i wouldnt beable to afford to buy as many as i do, this is how the game business works no a days, people like EA with the "new only" online passes etc fail to realise if most people didnt trade in their games then games wouldn't have as big a sales payday as they do....in my opinion ;0)
  • In my opinion the game only has one play through, if you redo a case its boring as you know whats going to happen, so DLC was an added bonus, but I think they should stop with the DLC and make LA Noire2. Ive heard Team Bondi and Rockstar have fallen out anyway so I cant imagine much more DLC to come. I reckon most people would have traded the game in yesterday like myself after completing refeer madness and having 1400G, so if they did release more DLC I cant imagine a bigger money margin of it.
  • I am only on the third disk and after I beat it I am buying all the DLC's for this game. Whoa I need a lot of microsoft points
  • Most Likely it'll be the PS3 exclusive Traffic Case: "The Consul’s Car" !!!
  • @1 Dawn of War 2 on PC has 2000 gs so not sure why 360 games dont go over 1750 :/
  • Pretty obvious by reading all these comments that some people would bitch about getting the keys to the kingdom if it were to happen. * I agree that I have no desire to replay this game at all; however, that goes for most games. I play everything pretty thoroughly the first time so I don't HAVE to replay them and I usually don't like when an achievement list forces me to replay a game. Although sometimes it does have its rewards. In the end, there are a lot of great games out there and I only have so much time. * I grew up playing Nintendo so people complaining about the mere existence of DLC baffles me to no end. I love having new things to do. I guess I am just old enough to understand that capitalism works the way it does and it doesn't help to complain about it - at least not in $4-$10 optional increments. * Yes the cases are repetitive in the way that you investigate a crime scene, look for clues, interview witnesses, and drive to places of interest. It is called being a detective. Driving a Lamborghini is repetitive too you know? Even Mass Effect (which I consider one of the greatest games of all-time) had some repetition. The story more than compensates for any of that. I felt like it did in LA Noire as well. The variety is in the different desks. * In the "old days" (I am 34) used to keep every single game that I bought. What I found is that today there are so many good games every year and those games takes days of replay time, so what happens is that I rarely re-play games unless it can be done in a few hours (The Legend of Zelda for example). Trading in games is vital to gaming these days for may reasons: 1.) I can recoup some money from my original investment or offset some of what I sank into the DLC, 2.) keeping supply up at Gamestop (or wherever) means that prices go down and that helps me out "big-picture" when I do buy used games that I didn't get on release day (such as Darksiders or Arkham Asylum), 3.) Not everyone can afford new games and the industry needs to have as many customers as it can (contrary to the beliefs of some). If a twelve year-old can play a game now for $20 they may stay more interested in games so that they grow up into a 24 year old who can afford $60 games or perhaps a game developer - the idea is that in a small way it helps the industry in the big picture. Ultimately, this game was a great game. It isn't among the greatest ever but it may prove to be among the most technologically groundbreaking in terms of its development - but that alone is not reasons enough to play it. It is an enjoyable experience with a very strong story. If you are the player who requires lots of mayhem, killing and explosions then this is just not the game for you (in fact it would be simple to play this game without ever dying once). I do believe that it is an experience that was worth the price of admission and that it will help to change how developers create games, including the Michael Bay-esque ones, in the future.
  • @ 107 - The Legend of Zelda, any given Zelda, takes a bit more than a matter of hours like well over 8. Unless you're not counting dying over and over b/c you're obviously better off and get lost collecting extra supplies like bottles, heart containers, etc. But just about any other game outside of the RPG realms can in fact be done in less than a few hours. The game was worth every penny. I'm a sandbox lover and even I know not every game needs to have 9 billion things to do. The game has massive potential though for a sequel.
  • are people blind? all the DLC thus far for this game, should of already been in the game, they just kept it back for DLC, there screwing us over!
  • @109 - *SMH* You kids and your wild theories. Making people pay over 800 MSP for a character or a costume, THAT'S content that should be included in a game. This is what's known (and has been since GTA4, Fallout, etc) as Episodic DLC. You don't want it? Don't pay for it. It will save you money and everyone else your complaints. The game doesn't feel as if it's "missing" anything without the DLC. You shouldn't be asking if people are blind, you should be asking if you're being overreactive.
  • I stand by what I said in Comment 21, add an Undead Nightmare size dlc with 5 or 6 cases dedicated to X-File style cases as a new Desk. Phelps gets hired by the FBI to investigate Paranormal happenings due to his high percentage of cases solved and keen eye for the logical conclusion. You have a partner similar in style to Moulder who believes in it all, Phelps will be doubtful of everything and this will lead to some funny banter while driving. All the cases turn out to be Hoaxes except the last one where your partner is abducted by Aliens.
  • @5 Wow son, you must have been holding that anger in for a while. Let it out my boy. Let it out.
  • @111: Its one of the better DLC ideas I've heard for any game, an X-Files desk with B-Movie UFOs all over the place would be superb! That said if Brendan McNamara @Team Bondi likes your idea, expect zero credit or pay :P
  • What about the case of my missing keys?! When will this be addressed rockstar
  • Kelso dealing with Cohen would be cool
  • dont get too exited guys its just the consuls car case
  • Can't wait for more dlc
  • The Paranormal Activity Desk idea is the best I've heard so far. Undead Nightmare was amazing for Red Dead Redemption. Something wacky and over the top would be perfect especially with all the Roswell and Area 51 events that occurred less than a decade from the time this game took place.
  • @ 118, actually the Roswell Incident took place in 1947. It would fit perfectly, maybe Cole has a uncle who is a witness and personally asks Cole to come investigate.
  • When comes the new DLC?? i want to trade the game in!!
  • @118 & @119 I was thinking the same thing. And, people, please stop bitching about DLC. If you don't want it, don't buy it. For anyone yet to play the game, you're in luck. Get the DLC first and the additional assignments will integrate within the story progression of the other cases within the game, so there is no need for a 'replay'. Now, quit griping, will ya? :-)
  • @96 what the hell are you talking about reefer madness had 9 questions, a lot of clues, and it took about an hour to beat
  • GTA 4 had 1500G RDR had 1500G i think R* wants to complete the set...
  • Whenever it does come out I will be ready to play it!
  • I'd like it if there was a DLC case on the Homicide desk. They did the others with at least one.
  • Got rid of this game after 1400 GS
  • Ummm, did anyone realise that there hasn't been a homicide DLC yet? Its probably what it will be, but it might be hard to come up with a good name bases on a true event.
  • I was hoping there'd be more DLC in the future. I was so close to getting rid of this game recently.
  • I actually can't wait for this to be announced oficialy. Would like a whole new desk but some cases would be good as well. P.S. You gotta love people who log onto a website only to complain about things they know nothing about. Stop bitching and let someone who likes the game talk about it without them getting complained at. Well wrote #110.
  • Loving playing this game, so more dlc is very good news... game on gamers x
  • I'm not too sure if 1750 is the limit because Family Game Night has 1850 currently.... so we shalls ee!
  • Personally I have been expecting some extra dlc as 1400 is a strange number to finish on and although The consuls car is PS3 only it appears on the Rockstar social club listings of cases. This may just be a glitch however and as team bondi have gone under down under the chances of additional dlc other than something already created is pretty slim.
