I can't believe out of all those games I didn't want any. @2 What are the add-ons on sale?Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:00 AM
I bought Trouble Witches Neo like 2 weeks ago. :@ ..At least it's really good. Pretty good deals, I bought Outland...so i'm happy. Does anyone know the dlc that got discounted ?Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:00 AM
Ooh, so many goodies to snap up!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:00 AM

Trouble Witches is awesome, a must for any shmup fan!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:49 AM
It's worth noting that there will be some offers that will only become available on Friday. Here's hoping they'll be good.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:55 AM
Outland shall be mine. 2D platform adventure to tide me over until shadow complex 2!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:56 AM
If you don't have Moon Diver already, now is the time to do it.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:01 AM
There's a good few i am tempted to buy there...luckily today is pay day ahaha!!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:04 AM
Outland it is... I'd have missed this otherwise thanks for the post. A few sites highlighted some games on sale but tellingly missed out Trials HD (I have trials on PC but want the 360 version too for convenience) and Outland.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:10 AM
Awesome, thanks for telling! I have a lot of those already, but I will get Outland and Blade Kitten (always wanted those but was waiting for a good deal XD).Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:21 AM
GB please !Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:31 AM
Would probably be more interested if I could stop playing gears, but I just can't. I don't know how long it will be until I play another game! Can anyone tell me what Islands of Wakfu is comparable to? That would be the one I was interested in most. ThanksWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:34 AM
Wouldnt mind Outland and Moon Diver..even though it looks solid and isnt nearly as exciting as the name suggests...Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:36 AM
Picked up Moon Diver, might pick up Wakfu too.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:36 AM
When you enter the spotlight menu on the Xbox it also says they will have 1 day only offers on friday so will keep an eye open for thatWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 06:57 AM
Outland and Wakfu are must haves. I'd like to pick of Shank but I'm reserving points for upcoming DA2 DLC and their Friday deal.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 07:18 AM
Outland is a steal at that priceWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 07:44 AM
Outland and Clash of Heroes for me :)Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 08:08 AM
Man, few games in there I might pick up, and some I definitely will. I always try the demos first though. Anyway defo getting: Outland and the Maw (+DLC probably) so that is 800 (1100 with DLC) already. Wafku, Trouble Witches, Moon Diver, Daggerdale, Blade Kitten and Star Raider are also possible if I like the demo so I'm looking at around 4000 points... that's about the 34 quid mark... Still saving about 30 quid in deals. Probably won't get them all, spent too much money on games this month already.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 08:21 AM
What's Monday night combat like ??Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 08:34 AM
Protip: get Trials HD if you don't have it already.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 08:37 AM
@28 download the trial and see for yourself.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:06 AM
Really liked the art style of Wakfu while playing the trial a few months ago. Will get it for sure at that price !Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:13 AM
I bought Outland last night and im glad i have my xbox set to dash instead of booting the game as it lets me check out whats new and thus i stumbled across these. I have a few and i would heartily rec Islands of Wakfu. Its easily worth 400 points, is like Bastion and it has living cute marshmallows in it :0 id love to get Moon Diver and Trouble Witches but it has odd achievements and i honestly cannot stand a non round no on my gs. I have OCD (Yes REAL OCD and nit the i like to have a tidy shelfso i have OCD nonsense).Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:30 AM
Just extended my Arcade Game total to 165 with this sale >Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:34 AM
@32 You're not alone there, my friend. I've had OCD (often times crippling) since I was 13. And there are a lot of things on Xbox that trigger that, so I know the importance of being careful on what to avoid lol. I finally got over the odd gamerscore. It still bothers me (as I tend to prefer even numbers myself), but it's not something I let consume me, mainly because I know what it would entail getting it back to an even number and I DON'T want to play through Zombie Wranglers just to fix it! (that's the game that messed it up) lol :(Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:37 AM
serious sam ftwWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:42 AM
Trouble Witches! Been waiting for that to go on sale. Shank for 600 isnt bad, that was a fun game. Serious Sam for 400 is good but the achievements are a pain (beat it and still haven't gotten the "beat the game" to unlock). Might have just glitched on me I dunno...at least it's fun. Gonna try it without using any bullets eventually. Possibly on serious difficulty sooner or later. The Maw was cute, fun, and easy. @34 Zombie Wranglers...yeah that's a mess of a game and not fun at all. I keep trying to go back thinking maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it or something and no, it's just terrible.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:53 AM
Damn it......................DAMN IT, MICROSOFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not one to pass up on deals, which is why I sometimes dread DoTW. Guess who just bought 12 new Arcade Games today?Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 11:47 AM
Dear God thats alot of sales.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 11:49 AM
This is like 100 dollars for all of them. time to sell some games,Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 12:33 PM
Bah. I already got Shank & Outland at full price. Goddamn it.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 12:55 PM
@32: Apparently your OCD isn't concerned about spelling/grammar mistakes. :-)Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 01:05 PM
Think ill pass until theirs a dlc sale or something betterWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 01:51 PM
Shank is worth it. Especially since their is a sequel coming out early next year.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 01:51 PM
Thanks for heads up. Picked up Outland and Daggerdale:-)Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 01:56 PM
Pretty much already have that entire list.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 01:58 PM
damn, I have bought 5 games and still need points!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 02:17 PM
Didn't see this today, and went out and picked up The Gunstringer with my spare money... I knew I should have just bought some points.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 02:35 PM
What are the one day offers on Friday??Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 03:28 PM
The Maw!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 04:20 PM
@48 We won't know until Friday because it is a one day only sale. My God! This the the best sale we have had since the end of the year sale!Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:10 PM
anybody have an opinion on shank? played the demo when it first came out. didnt think it was worth the points. but now........Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 05:52 PM
Outland for meWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 07:55 PM
@51 I would pay 400 points for it. The problem with Shank is that it breaks up the 4 games for 1600 points deal that I am looking for. Achievement-wise I would like to see DLC for Army of Two 40th Day, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, and Brutal Legend go on sale this Friday. And maybe Pinball FX2 and Guwange.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 08:59 PM
I got Serious Sam. Lots of fun and a great deal at 75% off. All you do is blast the ever living hell out of things. :DWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 09:12 PM
DEFINITELY picking up Outland.Wednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 10:18 PM
gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayWednesday, September 28, 2011 @ 11:29 PM
Moon Diver, Trouble Witches, and Outland are all great. Unfortunately, everything that appeals to me here I already own. Bionic Commando is tempting, but I don't like the 3D graphics.Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 12:36 AM
This is a hell of a DOTW, but honestly, I don't see anything here for me :( I am stoked that they have so much available though. Hope MS makes this many games a regular thing :DThursday, September 29, 2011 @ 01:41 AM
Ive just spent nearly 6000marps on some of this stuff and Resi 4!!!!Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 02:53 AM
awesome i just downloaded outland. this works for me i needed something else to help me wait for batman arkham cityThursday, September 29, 2011 @ 03:04 AM
Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter and ShankThursday, September 29, 2011 @ 03:50 AM
@60 omg me too >< I bought 4000MSP for the Two Worlds 2 stuff yesterday and they took it off the marketplace, so I got stuck with the points. I bought a lot of these at retail and I got all the remaining games yesterday. That just nudged me over 170 XBLA games. 140+ of which I've barely touched lmao. Can you imagine what that's like on a 20GB HDD (haven't had any reason to upgrade until now)? I have 3 16GB flash drives full and only have roughly 90 arcade games on all 3 of them plus my HDD. I think I'll spend the majority of my time from now until November playing them instead of getting any retail games. Only one I'm waiting for from Gamefly is Deus Ex. After that, nothing interests me.Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 04:12 AM
Wtf where is the sale on my dashboard! Sometimes Australian xbox live just sucks dick.Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 04:20 AM
@64 They're keeping the sale on the downlow for some reason. You'll have to manually search for each game on the Game Marketplace. I know it sucks, but that's how they set it up :/Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 08:32 AM
@41 - Thanks for that :p but yea it does but i just have to try and ignore it otherwise ill never post anything. I get its difficult for people who havent suffered with it but OCD is terrible and for me has been debilitating. Anyway on topic im looking forward to these friday deals. @34 - I totally relate. Slap depression and anxiety with it and its even worse. Anyway this isnt about me but games so ill say no more :D congrats on getting over the odd no thing. I still wont play dishwasher because of it. And wow you have alot of XBLA games 0-0 i thought i had alot. Im on the other boat though, i generally play more xbla titles and neglect my retail ones :/Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 09:22 AM
If I wasn't backed up on games and planning on putting my time in Rage when it comes out i'd pick up Trials. It always interested me but the price always threw me off. Maybe i'll buy it just cause of sale and one day get to it lol.Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 05:46 PM
Picked up Clash of Heroes since it was DotW and not this super sale thing. Amazing game. Might need to get some more points to get some of the other cheaper ones since I already have Trials.Thursday, September 29, 2011 @ 08:33 PM
Does anyone know what the deal will be on Friday ?Friday, September 30, 2011 @ 03:17 AM
Trouble Witches Neo just looked silly to me (probably because of the cover art). However... since so many people have recommended it, I will DEFINITELY check it out! I bought Outland (at full price) during the "Buy 2 Arcade Games for Xbox Rewards promotion." 400 points is a GREAT price, for a GREAT game - I highly recommend it! Blade Kitten is HILARIOUS (and fun)! The dialog is fantastic (well acted, too). If you don't laugh during some of the cut scenes... there's something wrong with you!Friday, September 30, 2011 @ 12:47 PM
I don't like Trials HD. Outland and Torchlight will be for me.Friday, September 30, 2011 @ 08:58 PM
I purchased Torchlight and Hydrophobia. Couldn't go past the price, which is too good to be true. Besides, I had MS Points I had to use before they expire, so I just hit two birds with one stone.Saturday, October 01, 2011 @ 03:49 AM
never knew ms points could expire..is that true?Saturday, October 01, 2011 @ 09:08 AM
on the cards I think they might, but not if you add them into your accountSaturday, October 01, 2011 @ 01:09 PM
I think rewards points are set to expire in 6/12? beyond that not sure on expiration dates.Saturday, October 01, 2011 @ 05:48 PM
They don't expire .. even if they are "expired"Monday, October 03, 2011 @ 08:04 AM
So does this push the new Deal of the Week start to October 5th or will it still be October 4th? I'm curious because there are a few games here I'm considering picking up, but I would like to know what the next DotW is going to be before I make my decision. Major Nelson usually has the new DotW in his blog by this time, but I can't seem to find it.

There’s a sizeable sale on Xbox LIVE right now, with a bunch of reduced games for you to snap up at a fraction of the original price.
There’s a few stand-outs among them. Outland, the colourful, inventive platformer is half-price at just 400 MSP. The infuriatingly excellent Trails HD is just 600 MSP and the original Bionic Commando: Rearmed is half-price too, at just 400 MSP.
In total there are 18 games in the sale, most of which are lovely little bite-size greats. Check out the full list below. Microsoft has yet to reveal when the sale, dubbed “Extreme Shopping,” will end. So you’d better go going now just in case!
