Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 4 ‘Chainsaw Demo’ will be rolling out across all platforms later today, enabling you to sample the opening section of the game as many time as you like, for as long as you like.
As the ‘Chainsaw’ bit of the demo suggests, you'll be running into RE4's notorious Chainsaw Ganado, aka Doctor Salvador, whose red Las Plagas-infected eyeballs peer out from the hessian sack over his head. If you manage to time it right, you can parry his chainsaw with Leon's combat knife, as shown in the first short trailer below.
I love how parrying has become so popular you can now parry chainsaws in RE games. Queued her up and looking forward to spending as much time as I want roaming around. Their limited time demos kinda shit me.
"Rolling out across ALL platforms"... Still waiting for the Xbox One version then guys... And yes, I know at this point it is not happening.
By the way, anybody knows if the player fails to parry the chainsaw attack it is instant death like in the original or massive damage instead?
