First-person narrative adventure, The Last Worker, is due to launch at the end of March, Wired Productions and indie studio Wolf & Wood have announced. Starring Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Kurt and Jason Isaacs as helper robot Skew, The Last Worker focuses upon humanity's struggle in a world becoming more and more automated.
Kurt and Skew have a co-dependent relationship, as shown in the new trailer, with Kurt overworked, lonely, and tired at his Amazon-lampooning Jüngle Fulfillment Centre Job, and Skew proving irrepressibly upbeat and optimistic. What follows is a humorous story, boasting a handcrafted art style and immersive game mechanics.
Featuring an all-star cast and an art style created alongside Judge Dredd and 2000AD comic books legend Mick McMahon, The Last Worker will be heading to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and VR platforms on 30th March, priced $19.99/£15.99/€19.99.
