Team Ninja has announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be getting its first piece of DLC in June.

Titled “Battle of Zhongyuan”, this DLC will bring a new scenario to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, adding in brand new stages, a new difficulty level, additional weapon types, as well as new enemies. Team Ninja says that this DLC is “promising an exciting experience for Wo Long experts and novices alike.”

Beyond those slightly vague notes, we've got a nice piece of concept art for the DLC, with more information on Battle of Zhongyuan due to be released in the near future.

The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC will launch for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on 29th June 2023.

  • Hoping they don't add a new, higher difficulty to complete. I already did NG+.
  • @1 They will. That's usually the point of the DLC. It trivializes all our builds and adds new difficulty and stuff to grind for. That's why it's always a waste of time to grind a build out until all 3 DLCs release for a Team Ninja RPG. lol It worked like that in Nioh 1, Nioh 2 and Stranger of Paradise. I'd be shocked if it didn't work the same here.

On the positive side, the DLCs are always quality and they usually add quality of life fixes and improvements to make the crafting and grinding better / easier. (Makes you wonder why they do this in literally all their games to then get amnesia and release a new game with crap systems initially. They create the problem so they can fix it later. Dumb.)
